Writing Assessment Criteria and Grading
Write each word in a suitable sentence. (Each sentence must contain at least 5 words) (20 points)

Accuracy: 1 point: Any grammatical, morphological, spelling, or preposition error results in the loss of half a point.

Correct usage of the required vocabulary: 1 point. (If the student does not use the required word correctly, including necessary prepositions and similar requirements, 1 point is lost).
The student loses 2 points in the following cases:

If the sentence is less than 5 words.

If the words are not coherently connected in a correct sentence.

If the target word is used in an incorrect context.
-
If the student does not use the word in a context related to its actual meaning; unacceptable examples for the word "استمر-continued": "I do not know the meaning of the word continued" or "I asked the teacher: what is the meaning of the word continued."
