The "Arabic Teaching Academy," launched in cooperation with Ibn Haldun University and the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, is opening its doors to take teachers' professional competencies to the next level. Applications will be accepted between February 23-26.
Ibn Haldun University continues to bring its vision of excellence in education into the classroom. The Arabic Teaching Academy, organized in partnership with the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, has announced its 2026 training program aimed at strengthening the classroom practices of Arabic teachers, integrating modern pedagogical approaches into teaching processes, and creating a more effective language teaching environment.
The program is not limited to theoretical knowledge transfer; it is built on an application-based structure that includes teaching the four basic language skills, material development, measurement and evaluation, and innovative classroom management techniques. Under the guidance of experts in the field such as Mudar Faress, Abdurrahman Tablas, and Musab Olabi, participants will have the opportunity to experience systematic teaching methods that place the student at the center.
The Academy offers a unique model that includes visiting participants in their own classrooms following three intensive modules. After the third module is completed on April 8-9, expert trainers will visit the teachers at their respective schools to conduct classroom observations. This process aims to ensure sustainable professional development by analyzing the reflection of the training onto the field.
Within the scope of the program, 30 Arabic teachers selected through online interviews will be hosted at the Ibn Haldun University Başakşehir Campus.
Application Dates: February 23–26, 2026
1st Module: March 25–26, 2026
2nd Module: April 1–2, 2026
3rd Module: April 8–9, 2026
Training Hours: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Teachers who successfully complete the training and field observations will receive their certificates at a grand graduation ceremony. The Academy also aims to lead the dissemination of best practices by creating a "professional learning community" among Arabic teachers.
We invite all Arabic teachers to join this distinguished academy to build the future standards of language teaching together.
