Within our university, the 2024–2025 Academic Year Preparatory Programs Awards Ceremony was held on Monday, December 22, at 1:00 p.m. in the Grand Conference Hall. The program was attended by our Rector Atilla Arkan, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees İrfan Gündüz, the Director of the School of Languages Furkan Alpat, as well as our academic staff and students.
As part of the program, the first-place students of the Arabic Preparatory Program and the Turkish Preparatory Program were announced, along with the first-, second-, and third-place students of the English Preparatory Program. The award-winning students shared their experiences of the preparatory education process, reflecting on their academic and personal development throughout their language learning journey.
Following the speeches, plaques and achievement awards were presented to the students. The ceremony once again highlighted the contribution of high-quality language education, a disciplined learning process, and academic guidance to student success within the preparatory programs.
The preparatory programs conducted by the School of Languages aim to integrate students’ language skills with their academic goals, enable effective communication in a multilingual university environment, and provide a solid foundation for undergraduate studies. The achievements attained in this context stand as a concrete indicator of our university’s consistent and high-quality approach to language education.
