The Ibn Haldun University School of Languages brought together its academic and administrative staff from the Arabic, English, and Turkish programs, along with their families, for a meaningful "Family Iftar" event. The evening, highlighted by messages of unity and solidarity, was crowned with spiritual gifts and prayers.
One of the most touching details of the program was the special gift presented to the guests: custom-designed brooches inspired by the patterns on the mantle of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). While this thoughtful gesture enhanced the spiritual atmosphere of the night, the youngest guests were also remembered with special gifts that added joy to the evening.
A highlight of the event was a performance by one of our students, Burak Gül, who recited the "Bayramiye" in both Turkish and Arabic. This dual-language performance perfectly reflected the multilingual and multicultural essence of the School of Languages.
Following the iftar, Furkan Alpat, Director of the School of Languages, engaged in a heartfelt conversation (hasbihal) with the participants, emphasizing the importance of institutional belonging and community. This special gathering, held in a warm family atmosphere, concluded with collective prayers.
