The Aleppo Arabic Language Camp, organized by the School of Languages at Ibn Haldun University, is progressing successfully with its July 2026 cohort through an intensive and immersive educational program. Since its commencement on 5 July, participants have been enhancing their Arabic language proficiency while experiencing the rich historical and cultural heritage of Aleppo.
The program offers a comprehensive 100-hour curriculum, consisting of 80 hours of intensive Arabic language instruction and 20 hours of interactive workshops designed to strengthen participants' communication and practical language skills. In addition, participants with an interest in Islamic studies have the opportunity to attend special sessions delivered by distinguished scholars in the field.
Throughout the program, participants' academic progress is closely monitored through a structured student tracking system, allowing instructors to provide continuous feedback and individualized guidance. The intensive learning environment enables participants to practice Arabic not only in the classroom but also in authentic daily-life settings, fostering greater confidence and fluency.
Beyond language instruction, the camp offers a variety of cultural excursions and city tours, providing participants with first-hand exposure to Aleppo's historical landmarks and cultural heritage. These activities create valuable opportunities for students to apply their language skills in real-life social and cultural contexts while gaining a deeper understanding of the region.
The July cohort continues in line with the planned schedule and has received highly positive feedback from participants. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be awarded an internationally recognized certificate issued by Ibn Haldun University.
