A total of 38 students participated in the program, enriching the program with intensive language training and cultural activities. Students take intensive Arabic language courses taught by expert academics at Aleppo University. Following the course, students practice the language and experience the region's cultural fabric firsthand, guided by mentors specifically assigned to the program. Under the guidance of these mentors, the Aleppo Citadel, the Umayyad Mosque, one of the city's most important religious and architectural structures, historical madrasahs, and traditional bazaars were visited, and the city's unique regional cuisine was also introduced.
A key stop during the camp program was a courtesy visit to the Turkish Consulate General in Aleppo, where our students had the opportunity to meet with Consulate officials. The camp will continue with a trip to the capital, Damascus, in the coming days, providing our students with the opportunity to develop their language skills while also experiencing the region's historical and cultural heritage.
