With the start of the new academic year on September 30, 2024, classes also commenced for the 15 different language courses offered by the School of Languages. As students settled into their classrooms to attend language courses at various levels, the curricula and course content for each language were introduced. Both beginners and advanced students set their goals with their instructors and began focusing on their studies. In this period, with the option of both in-person and online classes, students will have a wide range of learning opportunities. On the first day of classes, October 1, the students first listened to a presentation by the Arabic Unit Coordinator, Mudar Faress, where they were informed about the new semester. The presentation covered important details regarding the methods to be followed throughout the term, the curriculum, exam schedules, and educational materials. Additionally, the students were briefed on potential challenges they might face and strategies recommended for successful language learning.
