Gurbet Tuba Emine Toprak graduated from Istanbul University's German Teaching Department in 1995. In the same department, she completed her master's degree in Translation with a thesis titled "Traces of Cultural Change and Western Influence in Celebrity Magazine Journalism in Turkey." Since 1996, she has been teaching German in various institutions, schools, and preparatory courses. In addition to German, she has taught Ottoman Turkish for many years and has been involved in activities related to the transcription and publication of Ottoman Turkish texts.
