Eldar HASANOĞLU (Assoc. Prof.); Azerbaijani Historian of Religions.
He completed his undergraduate studies at Baku State University Faculty of Theology with an honorary diploma. He pursued his Master's and Ph.D. studies on Jewish Law at Marmara University, completing his thesis work between 2005 and 2012.
From 2009 to 2011, he conducted thesis research and received Hebrew language education at the University of Toronto (Canada) and the University of Haifa (Israel). In 2017, he successfully passed the interview at Ankara University Faculty of Theology and obtained the title of Associate Professor.
He specializes in Judaism, Muslim-Jewish relations, Israel Studies, and Hebrew. Hasanoğlu, who has authored over 10 original and translated books in his field, has published articles in various international and national journals, entries in the DİA (Great Islamic Encyclopedia) and other encyclopedias, as well as presentations at international and national conferences. He is proficient in Arabic, Persian, English, and Hebrew.
Currently, he serves as a faculty member at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University Faculty of Islamic Sciences
