After the Arabic Department teaching assistantship announcement, an orientation meeting was held with the successful assistants, under the chairmanship of our Arabic Unit coordinator, Mudar Faress, after individual interviews. Information was given on determining the needs of the student to whom educational support will be provided and on the interview plan. Afterwards, each assistant met the student they would teach and determined the weekly meeting plan.
